About me

Geometric Shapes

Hello!

Thanks for reading my blog!

I am Ruth. As a child, I dreamed of being an actress and singer - I am very glad that these dreams partially came true and did not later become the main activity of my life (just kidding). 136bad5cf58d_first in public relations agencies, later in the role of press representative and communications manager in the company "Bitė Lietuva", Kaunas University of Technology, publishing house "Šviesa" (Alma littera group), Vilnius International French Lyceum and finally - working with individual clients. For them, I not only write texts and press releases that require a perceptive eye, but also consult on issues of public relations, internal communication, and creation of organizational culture. My colleagues and I have even founded a consulting group called "Anderrrs", which helps us see the inside of the company through the eyes of employees. It is not uncommon to have to assist public relations agencies - from events to non-traditional projects. In these exciting times, flexibility is value :)

Having accumulated 15 years of activity history, I feel the obligation to share the acquired experience and knowledge, so since 2016 I have been teaching Public Relations program students at the Lithuanian Journalism Center, I have taken Public Relations and Visual Semiotics courses for students of the Vilnius College of Design and Kazimierz Simonavičius University. Currently, I am a creative writing teacher for Bachelor of Publishing students at the Faculty of Communication, Vilnius University.

You won't believe it, but I started studying in the academic world with a very practical business management bachelor's degree at the ISM University of Economics, but in my master's degree I returned to the analysis and meaning of culture close to my heart , so to I received a master's degree in semiotics from Vilnius University Faculty of Philology. It was one of the best decisions in my life, so I continued on this path, studying ethnology, or cultural anthropology, in the joint PhD program of Vilnius University and Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore. I am writing a dissertation on modern customs of gift-giving, which only at first glance seem self-evident, but actually hide the deep twists and turns of human relationships, both happy and painful.

I started writing this blog as a folder for all the timeless texts I've created. I thought - I have written so much, published so much for myself and my clients, and those texts were scattered among many portals like one-day articles, although some of them could be interesting even today. Therefore, I have collected them here, for your attention, the most interesting.

I have compiled the written article and other texts according to five topics that are most interesting to me:

Society- the broadest, including reflections on social life, communication problems, business culture, and research into the daily routine of modern life, which became the topic of my dissertation.

Creation- non-committal and genre-free pictures of prose and sometimes poetry about the surrounding and inner world.

Rest- this is an important and interesting topic for me, partly because we communicate a lot about it together with my clients from the health and tourism sectors. I think rest is a serious topic that is undeservedly underestimated in this world full of fatigue and senseless stress.

Children and education- two inseparable topics that have accompanied my professional path for many years while working with textbook publishers and private schools, and also - raising many questions for me, the mother of two primary school children, and the desire to help my and other children, parents and teachers._cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

Home- this is my fortress and material creation. There is no limit to their perfection and messiness. There are no equals for their beauty and coziness. And there is no end to their creation - it is a constant process of transformation and discovery, a source of inspiration and peace. That's why I share home interior and style ideas here, very amateurishly, but very sincerely.

Thank you for your interest - enjoy reading, and if you want to share your thoughts or questions - please feel free to contact me!
